Zephyr eau de parfum was a surprising creation. Early last year I blended some lovely Autumnal chypre colognes based on the style of traditional French scents of the late 1800s/early 20th century.
My favourite and most reached-for fragrance this year has been Petite Brise. Over the year it has really matured and become quite a lot stronger, far more of an eau de parfum than I’d originally planned. I was playing around with it one day and I added just a little more vetiver and some jasmine grandiflorum and … eau wow!
The Zephyr was born.
A totally unisex trail of grounded elegance and style. Truly a serendipitous moment of blending has yielded this chypre treasure. It lasts for many hours, projects with aplomb and keeps the wearer enthralled as well as those that come close. The dry-down is one of the most beautiful scent roads I’ve traveled.
Classy, chic and one that you’ll find yourself choosing over and over, it just seems to find its way into the Scent of the Day category so effortlessly.
Petite Brise is now the eau de toilette version and Zephyr is the eau de parfum.
