Zeeba is a Farsi word meaning beautiful, and was named by my Persian friend, Azita. Zeeba smells of roses grown in honey-golden sunlight, this fragrance induces a deep state of purring contentment. My most lavish perfume to date; here is a stained-glass window of fragrant bliss whose incredible saffron colour comes from the Taif Rose absolute, a creamy soft and spectacular rose oil blended with leathery Vietnamese oud and Mysore sandalwood.
I firmly believe it’s the rare, magical harvests that come along once in a lifetime that leave behind a glow of happiness. It is a glow that endures; filigreed through many amazing memories and encounters. This is one of those treasures. A strictly limited edition, of this second batch I have less than 1 litre of Zeeba remaining, and once gone, it will not return. Zeeba is $10/ml.
* In addition to my original Zeeba, I have a small batch of Indian Zeeba, combining Taif Rose, Mysore Sandalwood and dark Indian oud to which I’ve also added Rose Damascena from Uttar Pradesh and Juhi, a heady and beautiful variety of jasmine that grows in India and Nepal. Indian Zeeba is like a dark chocolate version of my first Zeeba; more densely complex and deeply flavoursome. It gives the impression of a vintage Zeeba, one that has matured for many years in a cool dark cellar. Although my original Zeeba contains the leatheriness of the Vietnamese oud, it is a far more linear fragrance, whereas Indian Zeeba definitely ventures through a series of changes and the dry-down is sublime. 10ml spray atomisers of Indian Zeeba eau de parfum are available as well as 6ml attar bottles of the oil parfum
*Please note – due to incredibly high cost of ingredients and limited stock, Zeeba is excluded from discount coupons and perfume set specials.
